I am an actor/improvisor, mime, performance artist, puppeteer, writer, director and teacher and driving force behind
@N@f@N@.

Selective Theatre experience includes:

~ A Midsummer Night's Dream  (Robin Starvling) and Shrew
  (Hortensio) presented at the Dream in High Park (
CanStage's
  annual summer Shakespeare in the Park series), and Rice Boy
  also with CanStage.  I will be appearing in the remount of
  Rice Boy at the Stratford Festival, Summer/Fall 2009.


~ Three years of touring with CORPUS, a Toronto dance-theatre
   company, presenting the Dora-nominated Nuit Blanche (created
   with the performers) in Toronto, Peterborough, Sudbury and
   across Quebec, and their signature show, A Flock of Flyers, in
   Ottawa, (where we won the Gold Medal in Street Theatre at the
   Francophonie Games, competing with other countries that are
   part of the French Commonwealth), and shows in Toronto,
   Vancouver, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, The
   Netherlands, England, Wales and Benin (West Africa).  I was
   also part of Series One of the subsequent Four Square tv show
   segment based on A Flock of Flyers.


~ The Illusion, with Ottawa's Odyssey Theatre

~ City for Sale, Red River Rebellion and Laurier with the legendary
   Toronto company, VideoCabaret.

~ Created Reloaded (Canadian Comedy Award), Bird Flu Over the
   Cuckoo's Nest (Dora and Canadian Comedy Award Nominations)
   and Tip of the Melting Iceberg with the Toronto Second City,
   made famous by past alumni (John Candy, Eugene Levy, Dan
   Ackroyd, Andrea Martin, Dave Thomas, Catherine O'Hara, Martin
   Short, Gilda Radner, Mike Myers, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and
   many, many others).  I also was a mentor (along with Paul Bates,
   Matt Baram and Naomi Snieckus) to contestants on the CBC
   Reality Series, Second City's Next Comedy Legend.

~ I have also presented three shows created by and starring me at
   the Summerworks theatre festival:
   * Cowboys & Indians (an hour-long mime show with
      accompaniment by musical madman Bob Wiseman, for which
      we won the Spotlight Award and were invited to perform at the
      Brampton Indie Arts festival and in cities in the Yukon)
   * Communist 'Til Payday (a multidisciplinary solo show, the first    
      produced under @N@f@N@) and
   * Hys Unauthoryzed Lyfe & Tymes (originally performed with   
      Vanessa AvRuskin, Bob Wiseman and Khareme Lambie, but in
      development now as a solo, multimedia, live interactive cartoon
      theatre show)

~ In addition to Rice Boy and Cowboys & Indians, I am also
   currently
working with Puppetmongers on Chris Earle's   
   adaptation of
Charles Dickens' Hard Times, to be presented in
   Fall/Winter
2009, and directing Sharada Krishnamoorthi's
   adaptation of The Mice
and the Elephants with the
   Panchatantra Collective, Spring 2009.

~ Many radio dramas on CBC, including a live-to-air presentation
   of Funny Boy, directed by Deepa Mehta

~ Voice and animatronic puppetry of Snit on Snit Station

Lead characters on Teletoon's The Dating Guy and Disney's Five
   Boys and a Garden Hose animated series

I have also taught shadow puppetry in schools through a grant from the Ontario Arts Council, created and performed as an
Igloo Turtle, written plays and sketches and directed my own and others' work.
